Partner's Profile
Mr. Leong Chiew Keong (Partner) is a graduate from the University of Leicester, England. He has been practising in Kuala Lumpur for approximately 20 years since being admitted to the Malaysian Bar as an Advocate & Solicitor. He has extensive banking and insolvency expertise. His work encompasses the negotiation and documentation of all asset based financial transactions including company and property acquisition, regional joint ventures, project fund raising and financing. He also has considerable experience in litigation involving his spheres of expertise.
Mr. Rimi Abd Rahman (Partner) is a graduate from the International Islamic University of Malaysia. He has been practising in Kuala Lumpur for approximately 12 years since being admitted to the Malaysian Bar as an Advocate & Solicitor. He was legal counsel for several high profiled legal firms in Kuala Lumpur prior to joining the present firm as a partner. He has extensive experience providing legal representation in all forms of litigation in the Higher Civil Courts, Industrial and labour Courts. He currently specialises in commercial, civil and banking litigation.
Miss Siti Nurbaya Dato' Mohd Bisharuddin (Partner) is a graduate from the International Islamic University of Malaysia. She has been practising in Kuala Lumpur for approximately 11 years since being admitted to the Malaysian Bar as an Advocate & Solicitor. She specialises in the negotiation and drafting of security instruments for financial institutions, setting up business deals involving private companies, documenting off the balance sheet funding, guarantees and comfort letters.
Miss Maslina Noorzali (Partner) is a graduate from the International Islamic University of Malaysia. She has been practising in Kuala Lumpur for approximately 10 years since being admitted to the Malaysian Bar as an Advocate & Solicitor. She specialises in commercial and construction litigation. She has wide experience in litigation involving oil trading entities, contractual misrepresentation and fraud matters. She currently specialises in technology transfer litigation.
Legal Assistant Mr Stephen Khaw Tien Chye (with effect from 1/4/2008) is a Registered Patent and Trademark Agent and holds a B.A Agriculture Science (University Malaya), Masters Degree in Science from Cranfield (U.K) and LL.B (Hons) from University of London. He specialises in intellectual property matters, particularly trademark and litigation flowing from trademark infringements. He has strong scientific background where patent rights issues are concerned. He was legal counsel and corporate adviser to a public listed company in Malaysia for many years before joining the firm.
Miss Norlizah Bacho, a graduate in law from Universiti Malaya. She specialises in domestic conveyancing, inheritance tax advice, winding up and administration of estates, advice on intestacy and family law litigation. She has substantial exposure in litigating probate and administrative disputes.
